Hi, I’m Mary — a designer, strategist, and lifelong learner with a background in anthropology and 6+ years of experience across the legal, mortgage, and marketing industries.
I’ve always been drawn to understanding how things work — and how they can work better. That curiosity has led me to roles in UX, marketing, and operations, where I get to solve problems, build smarter systems, and create experiences that are both thoughtful and effective.
What ties it all together is a people-first mindset. Whether I’m designing a website, refining a workflow, or planning a campaign, I’m always thinking about the humans behind the screen (or on the team). I’ve been lucky to learn from some amazing colleagues along the way, and I’m excited to keep growing, collaborating, and building great work together.
Let’s connect — I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Congratulations, Mary - you not only passed comprehensive exams, you earned distinction. In fact, for the first time in recent memory, every single essay earned distinction. Awesome!

Mary Kim joined our team last year with no sign, production or output experience and immediately jumped in and conquered our design and output department with such grace. Talk about adaptability and a pro multitasker! She is crossed trained in EVERY department from sales, customer service, input, design and production. That’s initiative!
